Anzac Landings Recount
Ride To Death!
It’s 2 am, on the 25th of April 1915.
There I was. I was shaking like I was getting shocked. The landing boat was like a ride to death!. I was getting ready to leave the boat. I felt a big drop of sweat rolling down my neck.
I could smell all the fear coming from the landing boats. Someone on the other landing boat had accidently shot a bullet off. “We’re exposed,” screamed the Commander. I thought we were about to die. It was like blood bath.
Then I felt a torturing pain in my leg. I was shot. I felt like I was about to die……..

Live, Work and Play Safely" by Heather Hammonds
Live, Work and Play Safely” by Heather Hammonds
Think about an activity that you do, or a sporting activity you belong to and make a list of the rules that members need to follow. For each rule, briefly explain why this rule has been put in place.
Rugby Union
The Rule is …..
Why this rule has been put in place…..
No Sharp Boots.
The reason is because it might cut peoples arms and legs.
No High Tackles.
The reason is because if you high tackle you could break their neck.
No Forward passes.
Because if you forward pass you could get penalised and because that is unfair for the opponents and that is only allowed on football (National FootBall League).
No Kicking Or Punching.
There is no kicking or punching because it turns into a fight and people could get severely injured.
No Foot Trips
Because you can really hurt the peoples feet.
No Shepherding
You are not allowed to shepherding because they could accidentally tackle the wrong person.

Abraham Lincoln Speech
Abraham Lincoln
BANG! BANG! BANG! Did you know Abraham Lincoln was the first president to be assassinated? He was only 56 years old. Can you imagine what it would be like to have someone in your family assassinated?
I’m here to tell you somethings you might have not known about Abraham Lincoln. First of all Abraham Lincoln was born on February the 12th 1809 Hodgenville in Kentucky of the United States. He was assassinated on April the 15th 1865 in Washington D.C United States.
When Lincoln was growing up his father lost everything when Abraham was young and they had to move to Perry County, Indiana where they struggled to get by. When he was just nine years old, his mother died and his sister Sarah took care of him until his father remarried.
Six days after surrender of Confederate commanding General Robert E. Lee, Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. At first nobody knew who had killed Lincoln until 6 days later. Lincoln was 1.93 metres tall. He was even a self-educated lawyer in Illinois back in the 1830s. He also abolished slavery, lead the United States through it’s Civil War the bloodiest war and it’s greatest moral, Constitutional and political crisis.
