Peace Sense Poem
I am so proud of being able to describe what Peace feels like, tastes like and sounds like.
It can be tricky to describe the senses.
The thesaurus can help me by giving me interesting words to use.
The next step for me in my learning is to write a more interesting poem.
A Desert Presentation
I am learning to do a presentation about the Sonoran Desert for my reading.
I am proud of being able to do a desert presentation.
It was tricky to find the correct interesting facts.
My buddy can help me by checking for spelling mistakes.
The next step for me in my learning is to make another presentation and make it by myself.

Anzac Landings Recount
Ride To Death!
It’s 2 am, on the 25th of April 1915.
There I was. I was shaking like I was getting shocked. The landing boat was like a ride to death!. I was getting ready to leave the boat. I felt a big drop of sweat rolling down my neck.
I could smell all the fear coming from the landing boats. Someone on the other landing boat had accidently shot a bullet off. “We’re exposed,” screamed the Commander. I thought we were about to die. It was like blood bath.
Then I felt a torturing pain in my leg. I was shot. I felt like I was about to die……..

I am learning to write an interesting recount.
I am so proud of using descriptive and vivid words in my recount.
It can be tricky to the right adjectives for the right sentence.
The thesaurus can help me by giving me better words.
The next step for me in my learning is to write an even better recount.
